Hi all,

I installed the patch, and started gpodder:

rooijen at love206a-rooijen ~/gpodder $ bin/gpodder
--local --verbose
(HistoryStore) Creating new history list.
Patching feedparser module... (mapContentType bugfix)

  File "/home/rooijen/gpodder/src/gpodder/gui.py",

    from gpodder import trayicon

python-notify package.')
NameError: name 'log' is not defined

Since I'm using gentoo, I need to emerge the
'notify-python' package:

love206a-rooijen ~ # emerge -v notify-python

Then gpodder starts up OK.

Just exactly what is this patch supposed to do? I
don't see any icons appearing anywhere (?). I use
GNOME, where is the icon supposed to show up?

Wilfred
