Hello.
I hope somebody can help me with my query, which relates to transferring
the Windows version of gPodder from one PC to another.
I recently bought a new PC. On my old desktop I have gPodder installed with
gigabytes of not-yet-listened-to podcasts which download to a OneDrive
directory. I'd like to be able to get using gPodder on my new computer as
seamlessly as possible. Essentially I'd like it to be as though, when I
open gPodder on the new computer, it picks up exactly from where I left off
from the old computer. Once gPodder's up and running on the new computer
I'll uninstall it from the old machine.
What's the best way to do this? Are there any files etc. from the old
computer that I should copy from the old computer to the new one? Presently
on the new computer I have an unopened fresh installation of gPodder and
all of the downloaded podcasts are there in the OneDrive directory too. I
thought I might have been able to use the gpodder.net synchronisation, but
I've never had much luck with getting that to work and when I tried again
just now the connection timed out.
