Hello! Below is a message from a bug report (link below) about how we currently deal with multiple errors. To my knowledge, GTK doesn't offer the possibility of having one message box having multiple message (at least not the stock message box). Should we go the route of creating a hand-crafted message box that can deal with multiple messages that can be switched through (like other apps have done before) or that lists the error messages in a text view (like GtkPod does)? What do you think? If possible, please also reply in the bug report directly so we can capture all ideas there. Thanks for your input to this issue, Thomas Begin forwarded message: Date: Tue, 2 Sep 2008 12:44:57 +0000 (UTC) From: gpodder-bugzilla at thegithouse.com To: thp at perli.net Subject: [Bug 173] When marking multiple podcast episodes for download, and download fails a lot of messageboxes show up http://bugs.gpodder.org/show_bug.cgi?id=173 --- Comment #2 from Hans Petter Fasteng <hfasteng at broadpark.no> 2008-09-02 12:44:56 --- The problem today, is that it is very hard to close all the messageboxes. So, maybe one is good? Listing the failed, or marking failed downloads in the list? I only bring this up because the boxes must be closed in a strict order and if you have selected 10-15 episodes, then you just go for the kill.
