@Tomas: I don't use Debian either and it worked fine here (Ubuntu 6.10). @Darren: try this: - Uninstall all the packages you downloaded from the Debian servers. - Do 'sudo apt-get install python-gpod libgpod0'. - Reinstall the Debian-optimized packages.
