As far as I know, nobody has created such as thing. I'd think it would
be a cool feature to have, though :)   (using Gnome Do myself here..)

D-Bus would probably be the way to go (when gPodder is running). I
suggest you simply add the D-Bus methods that you need to the gPodder
source code (src/gpodder/gui.py) as you go and send patches that
we can then integrate into the gPodder codebase.

Tell me if you need anything, or if the codebase is unclear, and I'll
try to help where I can :)
