gPodder loads up to 200 (this is configurable via "limit.episodes")
per podcast feed. Some feeds simply do not provide more than a few
episodes, and gPodder can't "invent" the missing episodes. Sometimes a
podcast also offers two feeds: A "most recent" one and a "all
episodes" one - maybe you want to subscribe to the "all episodes" one
instead (if it's available)?
For fixing the 200 episodes limitation, you can use the configuration
editor (limit.episodes) and set it higher - this should work just as
well under Windows (if not, it's a bug).
