[gpodder] Auto-Signup API for gpodder.net

Hi,
The developer of the Android podcatcher SoundWaves [1] is thinking of
adding gpodder.net integration and asked me about an auto-signup API.
Nothing like that currently exists for gpodder.net so I asked him to
collect his requirements, which he did at
https://bugs.gpodder.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1757
I agree with him that it might be convenient so signup on
gpodder.netdirectly from a client application when setting up the
first device.
If you could use a signup API, or have ideas regarding API design, please
leave your comments at the bug report.
