Youtube deprecated the v2 API. Once again Google proves to be an
unreliable bunch, there's a lot of smart TVs that just went kaput. The
cut-off point was yesterday, 20 April.
They do have newer RSS that work, but it's not just switching values
around, the channel ID is needed.

As an example for Vsauce, the old URL was
http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/Vsauce/videos.rss
And the new is
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UC6nSFpj9HTCZ5t-N3Rm3-HA
I got only about 10 YT feeds, it was easy to migrate, but if you have
more it might be worth to wait for a proper fix.

Hi All

Please have a look at this.
Gpodder downloads some youtube videos doubble since a few days, which results
in getting such videos numbered like (Video.mp4, video(2).mp4.
And in some channels suddenly old videos are downloaded as new.

Since today I get in almost every channel directory a file called
https___youtube.com_devicesupport.mp4.
I'd be great if this could be fixed soon.

Here is my bug report with an attachment:

And here is still bug 1992 which I posted as feature request some months ago.
I'm just not sure if it has been accepted or watched at all:

Thanks
Ben
