Sorry for confusion. Just enter the accented letters as you would into Duxbury or Word. But by telling GOODFEEL to use the español.ini for extended ASCII, it will know to use the proper braille signs for accented letters, etc. Otherwise, it would use the dot 4 notation. For example, if you use the español.ini for extended ASCII, the letter o in the word adiós will be brailled with dots 3-4-6. But if you use the dot4.ini, that same letter o will be brailled at dot 4, dots 1-3-5. Should I enter the accent signs with Ctrl+apostrophe, then the letter (as in pará which, works in Word & going to Duxbury) or not? I don't know how to do these ASCII symbols. There are many words in this song that have accents. -----Original Message----- From: goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Goldstein, Resource Center Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2009 11:06 AM To: goodfeel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [goodfeel] Re: spanish lyrics My guess would be that if Lime's lyrics feature allows for the writing of any ASCII character as part of the text, that it would be easiest to enter the accented letters as their computer braille equivalents. I've forgotten everything I once knew about Spanish accents, but I'm thinking in terms of using "(" for accented a and "+" for enia, or whatever it is. I don't imagine there are that many accented signs in a piece, or at least that many places where they really matter. What do the rest of you think? If you're going to go by what I have said, you'd better check what the ASCII equivalents for the braille signs actually are, because I could be completely wrong about them.
