Thank you Bill. I may try this when I have some time to work it out but in the
meantime can you please tell me how I can print off the music so I can give it
to my students. We have a rehearsal on Sunday and I need it before then for
them to read. I can print off the full score but that makes it five pages long.
I really need to be able to print off just their own part.
Thank you,
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
If your students have access to a computer, it is fairly certain that their
computer can play back your MIDI file. If their only option is an iPhone or
other iOS device, you might try FreeConvert.com which I just found by
searching for
.mid to mp3 converter
I have not yet tried to use this free converter service but it might just
work. That is, you can give your students the resulting mp3 file which their
iOS devices can definitely play back.

Thank you so much to those couple of people who have tried to help so far.
Unfortunately I don’t have a DAW or sequencer to be able to convert the midi
file to another format. Please let me know if someone has another suggestion.
I can play the parts individually with the here menu in lime but just can’t
send them to anyone else. The only way I could work out how to do it was to
record it with voice memos on my phone while it was being played on my
computer. At least I was able to send it to my students that way although the
quality was not very good.
Most importantly I need to be able to print off individual parts for my
sighted students ASAP. Could someone please let me know how to do this? I
would also like to know how to do this in braille but that is not quite so
urgent.
Thank you,
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
How have you exported to an audio file. Lime can export to MIDI which the
Media Windows Player and most other multimedia players can play back for
you. Of course, there must be utilities software that can convert a MIDI
file to an audio file format like .wav. Is that how you did it?

Subject: [goodfeel] Sharing music files
Hi everyone
I have created a file in line and have worked out how to export it as an
audio file. It works on my computer with Windows media player but when I
send it to my iPhone it doesn’t work. I want to share my file with my
students and know that some of them will only be able to play it on their
phones. How can I do this? also, the music I have written is for two violins
and piano. Is there a way that I can just send the audio of just one violin
part or just two violin parts together without the piano? I would also like
to know how I could send the print versions and print them out in the same
way with just individual or two parts together?
Thank you so much for your help.
Jenny
