Hi,
Lime is a kind of word processor for music notation. GoodFeel is a braille
music translator software.
The reason you can see braille music on your braille display when you are
running Lime is because GoodFeel is running in the background. It is
integrated with Lime. But with or without GoodFeel installed on your machine,
Lime displays music in standard staff notation on the screen of your PC.
You can input notes into Lime by going into Notation Entry mode with CONTROL+N
and then typing the pitches on the keys of the Home Row. Alter durations of
the notes you enter by typing on the keys on the Numbers Row above the Qwerty
row on your PC keyboard. You can also enter notes from an electronic musical
keyboard attached to your PC provided you have installed the appropriate device
driver software.
At this stage of development, it is not possible to use six-key entry to enter
notes into Lime.
Review the section of the Lime Aloud Guide entitled
Notes (Adding and Editing)
There are three ways to enter notes directly into your Lime document.
• Choose desired rhythm and enter notes using only the PC keyboard.
• Choose desired rhythm with PC keyboard and enter a note or chord by
playing on your electronic musical keyboard.
• Press CONTROL+R to open Lime's Record Dialog and play notes to be
entered in tempo on your musical keyboard in sync with a metronomic pulse.

Have you read the Lime Aloud guide? That will give you an idea of how to write
a piece using a single staff--there is an example of Lullaby of Birdland there,
complete with lyrics.
Are you using your Braille display in conjunction with Lime?
How familiar are you with print music notation vs. braille music notation?
What have you done so far with Lime? I'm asking so I can gauge where you are.
More Later,
Dani

transcribing guitar notation in lime? How do i write the basic braille

Or do i need to put them be for the notes using goodfeel??
