Hi Bill & Duke,

At http://www.Sibelius.com you have a choice of three
languages. English, French and Spanish. Judging by the
French response to the question about "Removing a Title
Page" (Copied below my signature), I'd suggest there is
little doubt that there is a French version. (Are there any
French or French-Canadian members on the list who may be
able to confirm?)

I'll leave the issue of a French version of Sibelius
Speaking to Bill and David Pinto, but again would suggest
this is entirely feasible, but would involve quite a bit of
work, not to mention cost. Then again, possibly I.E.. in
Paris could be approached for some help, and perhaps even
funding. Perhaps I can help in that area.

I may as well throw in my two cents for the Duxbury Braille
Translator, since Duxbury can import GOODFEEL braille music
files. Duxbury does have a full blown French Interface
Option (plus many others), and indeed a great deal of work
has gone into this in very close co-operation with A.V.H. in
Paris.

As Bill knows, we work very closely with Duxbury, so I'm
happy to answer questions there if required.

George Bell

page.

Hi, Duke,

We are anticipating a Spanish-language version of Lime and
our Lime Aloud
scripts to be released some time in the coming months. Lime
is already
available in German and we have made a start at translating
the Lime Aloud
scripts into German.

We would welcome any partners interested to help us localize
to French and
other languages.

There is a French-language version of SONAR but we have not
yet tackled the
job of translating the CakeTalking scripts into French or
any other
language. Again partners welcome. Same for Sibelius
Speaking although I am
not definitely sure that there is anything but English
Sibelius but I would
be surprised if there aren't localized versions of Sibelius.
I do know that
there is a German-language version of SharpEye.

BTW, GOODFEEL is quite capable of producing French literary
text in correct,
uncontracted braille as well as other European languages.

Regards,
Bill

Subject: [goodfeel] Does Goodfeel exist in other languages?

Hello guys:
I have been asked by an association to prepare a list of
items needed for
music braille production center. The problem this is in
Morocco, and the
language used for computers is mostly French. Does goodfeel
exist in French,

or maybe a similar program that's acccessible for the blind.
And for that
matter, Sonar, or sibelius etc..
Any suggestion for a music braille production station in
French is much
appreciated..
Douk
