Greetings to the Goodfeel community,
If you already saw this message on MENVI Discuss just ignore it, this is for
anyone who’s not part of MENVI who may find these useful.
I’m sharing a resource for any members outside of the U.S. who do not have
access to NLS or even U.S. citizens looking for scores that NLS may not have.
EG, scores like Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra, Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloe, ETC.
Founded by blind Chinese musician Hu Haipeng, the BrailleOrch Open Braille
Music Project transcribes and hosts a large collection of mainly chamber and
orchestral scores.

There’s also a list of other braille music resources or accessible music
programs found at the bottom of the home page or here,

Note that Musescore scores will no longer be free to download without a premium
subscription by March 13 this Friday despite being listed on that page. There’s
also a PDF to Musescore file converter found here or by selecting the “import
PDF” function in the Musescore program.
https://musescore.com/import#
For more complex scores, taking one or two pages at a time may work but more
often than not the PDF isn’t compatible due to complexity or formatting.
Hopefully these will help you acquire any music material you’ve been looking
for.
