Dear users and developers of GNUKhata,
I am proud to declare the release candidate of the much awaited version
of GNUKhata version 3 to be complete on behalf of the entire GNUKhata
team at Digital Freedom Foundation.
Some minor changes and little enhancements will be made available in the
final release due on 13th of this month.
We like to profoundly thank all our developers including interns, core
team and our domain expert CA.Mr.Arun Kelkar.
Docker images will be available for the final release which essentially
means easy installation for end users.

* Complete revamp of frontend.
* Can be used as a web based application by default.
* Usable as deskapp with different configurations.
* Implemented user interface for monthly ledger.
* Displayed per transaction balance inside ledger.
* Much improved printing system with printable pdf's.
* Drill down for all reports except balance sheet.
* Displayed groupwise balances with account count while creating
accounts.
* Fundamentally new and much improved voucher interface.
* Huge improvements in look and feel.
* Now vouchers can be searched by their voucher types also.
* More enhancement of bank reconciliation and dual ledger.

gkcore:
* Complete revamp for the core API in REST.
* Added feature to show monthly ledgers.
* Inside ledger balance shown per transaction.
* Group wise balances with account count while creating accounts
* Improved bank reconciliation
* Added voucher type in search criteria
* Used json data type in CR and DR
* Voucher table now has attachment field for a future feature
* Big performance and speed improvements using alchemy connection pool.
* Changed framework from twisted to Pyramid.
