It is highly possible that your auto update feature for docker is on.
Can you please restart the machine and try again?
Also, are you using a fresh machine?which version and which distro/ brand?
We haven't had this issue with any installations so far, that's why your
case generates interest for the team.
Happy hacking.

The offline installer, online installer and updates all are new.
I wonder why you had a problem.
But I am happy that it works.
Do ask if there are any doubts about the features.

Will begin exploring this tomorrow onwards but as of now its working

again the log posted earlier. This too did not work
Finally downloaded what seems like an updated offline installed
and then ran
GNUKhatasetup.run
for whatever reason this has resulted in gnukhata working
really happpy about this - can start working in earnest now

Just a quick update.
Now the demo is up to date and for those who are downloading,
the instructions are on our website/
In a nutshell, just download the offline installer if you are
doing it for the first time and download the update if you
already have GNUKhata version 3 installed.
We have tested GNUKhata on Ubuntu and Mint.
Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 works well and Mint 17 - 17.3 is known
to work.
You can try Mint 17.2 for best results with the said distro,
while Ubuntu 16.04 is highly recommended for Ubuntu users.
