The issue at gitlab server seems to be serious.
There is a network issue with their cloud service.
@gitlabstatus has all the updates.

This is to inform that our repositories at gitlab.com/gnukahta are currently inaccessible due to a massive failure of the gitlab servers.
As per their twitter handle @gitlab it is a major failure on the file system level and there is no timeline given for it's resolution.
Meanwhile our core team is preparing a backup gitlab server at git.fosscommunity.in if that works very good then we might contemplate shifting there full time.
