Multiple editors - YES ( GMPI's MVC nature should support this easily )

Yes Sounds reasonable.

It was me that asked the question, now i'm thinking no. We don't need to
specifically support zero windows. Hardware control surfaces (the
reason I gave) are already catered for via MIDI controllers etc.
