Provided you want to manage delays as real time, that is fine.  It's kinda
fugly if the tempo changes after you've converted to real time.

Out of curiosity, how does a beat-synced delay currently handle the changing
of tempo?  Doesn't it potentially need to reallocate memory if the tempo
