ok so what's responsible for the bad windows IPC to you? 

according to Ron and Angus, who know windows much better than I do,
there are perfectly adequate (if not actually ideal) IPC mechanisms
for Windows, specifically in the context of realtime audio apps.



I'd really like to see that
