But you see, I'm not talking about a cross-platform API, necessarily. I'm
talking about a host-provided API which lets the host explicitly trap these
operations.
I want to call host->malloc() so the host can trap malloc. I want to call
host->worker_thread() so the host can handle it withing the host's threading
model.
This is what I am talking about.
Your req sounds good, but that was a different requirement (I think). Will
update my draft copy when I get a chance.
