>>> not for that, sorry, but In parallel again, i'm volunteer do write the source code of the minimal kernel SDK (pure "C" , simple, well commented, and homogenous). this very first SDK will be able to recieve any further requierment, and will highlight some critical point where we will have to find solution. After this very first step, then everybody could participate in the same way than the requirements document.... <<< I don't think it's a good idea to write code yet. There are countless ways you can engrain design decisions into the code that would hopelesssly ruin it if anything needs to change. Even something as simple as a choice between "buffers" and "baton passing" (debated furiously here), has a profound impact on the final code. Not that this should necessarily stop you. It simply means we'll have yet another SDK to compare along with all the others. Maybe we'll say, "let's do X that way Vincent did it, and Y the way DirectX does it." I definitely wouldn't expect any one person to write an SDK and have the group adopt it just like that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Generalized Music Plugin Interface (GMPI) public discussion list Participation in this list is contingent upon your abiding by the following rules: Please stay on topic.
