I forget exactly what the fees are but they seemed reasonable at the time.
If open source projects are allowed to join as if they were a small
company then I dont think there will be a problem.
I dont know what the requirements are in the way of face-to-face meetings
or teleconferences for the MMA, but these often outweigh the membership
costs in other organisations.
