Hi Ron, I guess I'm saying that it's easy for people to invoke the "silent majority" in an argument, without any hard evidence. I am real live plugin software developer, my DSP code is in hundreds of VST plugins. Those plugins will also run under GMPI (natively). I'm the guy who has to sit here and perform the conversion. I wouldn't be taking my position if i truly felt the workload was going to be onerous. I don't really want to stir up the debate. I fully acknowledge that the MIDI camp has valid, respectable reasons.... and i have mine. We have not heard from this group, but they are mentioned often, so they must exist right?. <<< Disregarding the sarcasm... I for one have never characterized this silent majority as lazy. I would think that some companies would be more conservative, not so in a hurry to adopt GMPI lock stock and barrel. I'm sure that GMPI will be compelling enough for everyone to come aboard.
