This is why I suggested dropping Conductor, Metronome, and Performance times, and left Transport time out altogether. The proposed wrapup attempt is only making a case (and we only have use cases) for sample-time, score-time, and UST time (and UST is dubious, as Mike pointed out - a syscall might be enough).
