Nevermind, I misunderstood the function of the minihost. Its a mini UI host, not a mini DSP host, yes?

I like it too. Again for clarity let's settle on a name for it... Remote GUI Host?


I guess for completeness there's also the issue of whether communication between a host and its remote GUI host(s) is vs. is not part of the GMPI spec. If we say no then we avoid some design work, and we kind of say every host needs to provide its own remote GUI host environment, which I think would be acceptable. If we say yes then it has to get designed, which is nontrivial work, but it also has real user benefits since any remote GUI host could then be used (presuming the developer addresses any extant platform issues) with any host; and it thereby almost invents a new mini-industry, which I think is a better result. Thoughts?
