My initial impression is that OSC is ideal.  It's all about parameter
naming.  It's well thought out.  It's shaping up to be the replacement for
MIDI.

I can see one obvious objection... Strings, parameters have URL-style names.

BUT. At Tim said, it's just a programming issue.  While initialising the
plugin, map param-names to param-index, ...or pointers, or
whatever...(details don't matter).  Use that shortcut for sending events
etc).

why re-invent the wheel? (we want to provide OSC compatibility anyhow)

what do yous think?
