As spring of 2021 approaches, it is time to release a new version of glFusion.
We are pleased to announce the release of glFusion v1.7.9 LTS (Long Term
Support). This maintenance release includes a handful of minor bugs fixes, a
few updated external libraries and improved support for the latest PHP releases
(7.4 and 8.0).

- PHP v8 Compatibility Updates
- Story post hour was incorrectly calculated
- Post action messages where not being properly displayed. For example, save a
group membership and the confirmation message did not display.
- Upgrade issues when upgrading very old glFusion sites
- CAPTCHA Plugin - Fixed Google ReCaptcha
- Fixed SQL error in Polls list
- Fixed Cancel button when editing group membership.
- Fixed JavaScript error in Forum preview iFrame
- Media Gallery CKEditor browser did not display error messages correctly when
no selection or invalid selection was made.
