Dr. Bevlee Watford, Director of the VA Tech's Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity (CEED), is sponsoring a recruitment bus trip to the VA Tech Spring Football Game, to be held in Blacksburg, VA on April 19, 2008. The bus trip is FREE, and it is intended for underrepresented High School Sophomores who have a demonstrated interest in pursuing engineering. The selection process will be competitive (i.e., grades, test scores, and course selection are determining factors on the application). The Early Decision application deadline is March 14, 2008. The Regular Decision application deadline is March 21, 2008. Don't wait to submit your application, as the demand for this trip is expected to be huge. Note: This trip will be the first of three trips to the VA Tech campus for those students selected to attend (trips to the 2008 Fall Admissions Open House and the Spring 2009 Engineering Open House are also planned).
