Rene, Sorry, I understand some of your grammatically dark passages very badly. It is the first. Second, you show a lot of erudition, but we see no logic and peace sense. We do not see at you the words "peace", or "harmony", or "mind", or "education", etc. You demonstrate only the "occupation." Thirdly, we are now at confusion how to understand the Association of World Citizens? Is it the Association of peace or war (occupation) citizens? Your terminology and ideology of "occupation" are a militaristic vocabulary, not peace. Your demonstrations in Turkey, Brazil, as before in the Arab world are violent actions of the anarchic crowd totally ignorant in harmony. Its violence is no better than any other violence - it's madly devoid reason and harmony. Fourth, you are peace professor but you are showing anything instead of peace. Your "Occupy Wall Street" and your occupation of the world ("Occupy the World"!) - It is a call to total violence and universal empire. It's more like black anarchism than peacefulness. When you will occupy the world that you will be doing in it without the knowledge of peace and harmony and without harmonious education? This is a rhetorical question! Fifth, you want to repeat the student anarchy 1981 and 1982, which showed only a total ignorance of the students and their professors-masterminds in harmony and good knowledge of Marx's class struggle. (But Marx was also illiterate in harmony; he just neglected it and considered it beneath own revolutionary dignity at all his genius). What positive for peace and harmony they (1981 and 1982) have left? NOTHING! You are advertising himself as Theosophist. But they do not call for the occupation of the world! Hitler dreamed about it. Sixth, you are demonstrating a monstrous logic and thinking: "If this is true for the negative impact of financial decisions, it is also true for positive actions." By this logic, the negative solutions of Holocaust in 6 million of Jews, the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, terror September 9, 2001 in New York, or the genocide in Rwanda and the like "negative decisions is also true for positive actions." It's hard to say what is more here - ignorance, naivety, dementia or desire to show off? But in any case, the ideology of occupation together with the identification of positive and negative values, the recognition of their equal true ("is also true") - this is not an ideology of peace and harmony. They contradict to the GHA peaceful vision. I am surprised that you do not understand it, when you write: "I thought you might be interested" in it. Such a thing could write a person who absolutely does not know me, do not know the GHA does not know its books, including the ABC of Harmony .... Unfortunately, I do not know what could be the harmonious response to such militaristic invitation "occupy the world" and share a similar vision .... I do not see a different reaction than conflict. But you know my position here: harmony can not be conflict-free and peaceful with ideas of occupation (and similar) and equal truth of good and evil. If I am wrong in interpreting your ideas cited, please, show me this by facts. But I can not keep quiet and make a good face at bad game. GHA vision may not be compatible with any "occupation". Best wishes, Rene Wadlow NEW AGE GLOBAL REVOLUTION IN CLEAR PROGRESS: Occupy Wall Street, Occupy my home town (Fort Wayne), Occupy Detroit, Occupy the World By Constance_Cumbey . . . This IS the New Age Movement's long awaited global revolution in progress. How much more evidence do we need? Oh, and remember Rene Wadlow, an activist with Lucis Trust, the Theosophists, and World Citizens? He issued his own hoped for prognostication of the meaning of "Occupy Wall Street." It looks as if they may have BIG PLANS for next spring just as they did in 1981 and early 1982 The Day of the Citizens of the World The passage at midnight between 20 March and 21 March marks the central moment of the Day of the Citizens of the World. It is the start of the Spring Solstice and is celebrated in countries influenced by Persian culture such as Iran, Afghanistan and the Central Asian Republics as Navruz (Nawroz), the start of the New Year. It is a period of renewal, of new beginnings, and a time of recognition that we are all citizens of the world bound together in a common destiny. The Spring Solstice as the Day of the Citizens of the World marks a profound regard for cycles. Every cycle has a beginning, a middle, and an end; and nearly every cycle is followed by another. It was this sensitivity to cycles of change that served as the basis for the Chinese philosophy embodied in the I Ching – the Book of Changes. In the Richard Wilhelm translation, the text for the hexagram Fu advises “This is the moment, but it is not brought about by force…the moment is natural, arising spontaneously. For this reason, the transformation of the old becomes easy…Therefore, it is not necessary to hasten anything artificially. Everything comes of itself at the appointed time. This is the meaning of heaven and earth…The return of health after illness, the return of understanding after an estrangement: everything must be treated tenderly and with care at the beginning, so that it may lead to a flowering.” The Spring Solstice is an intrinsically meaningful cosmic-terrestrial event and at the same time serves as a powerful symbol for the deepest processes of transformation in the individual and collective human psyche. Wisdom consists in knowing one’s place in any given cycle and what kind of action (or restraint from action) is appropriate for that phase. What is constructive at one time may be destructive at another. Thus, the passage from an international system based on States to a world society based on the vision of world citizenship is a transition which flows naturally, without violence and without a destruction of the old. World Citizenship is based on a broad awareness of the ways the planet Earth is inter-related — what happens in one part of the world or to one group of people has an impact on all others. The Spring Solstice — Day of the Citizens of the World — is placed under the sign of Hermes Trismegistus (the thrice-great Hermes) who is said to have lived in Egypt at the time of Moses. As a priest and an older man, Hermes would naturally have taught Moses about the Light in which we live, move and have our being. Hermes was also thought to have been the teacher of Orpheus, who passed on the teaching concerning the order of the world to Pythagoras and Plato. Thus, there is, in the tradition of the Alchemists, the symbol of Aurea Catena — the Golden Chain — an unbroken series of wise persons — women and men— from Hermes Trimegistus to the present, a chain which also symbolizes the links between heaven and earth. This Aurea Catena chain is depicted in a 1488 mosaic of the Sienna Cathedral, Italy, where we see two figures, one from the East and one from the West coming to receive instruction from Hermes. Knowledge and Wisdom flowing toward both the East and the West is a key symbol of world citizenship. Thus the Day of the Citizens of the World is placed under the sign of the thrice-great Hermes. The current financial-economic crisis has brought the realization to many that we are all associated in one world. The decisions of a few can have an impact on the many. If this is true for the negative impact of financial decisions, it is also true for positive actions. Thus the Day of the Citizens of the World can be a day for greater awareness of the need for cooperation and mutual action. The Day calls for individual commitment and responsibility.Rene Wadlow, President, Association of World Citizens Charming! Well, it's now happening. Expect them all to come out of the woodwork!
