Leo and Bruce-- this went well today. Feel free to share with the GHA
List. I have some meetings arranged now with major interfaith education
people and organizations to chat about GHA and CIHE's being a part of the
evolving landscape. I've met with One Spirit and will meet with them
again; also have scheduled a meeting with the Council of Interfaith
Communities of the USA; and had a further telephone conversation with
Spiritual Paths Foundation (Fr. Thomas Keating's group). I will probably
to visit him in June. So, little by little introducing the GHA, CIHE, ABC
Harmony around "circles"......

BEST and love... more soon now that I'm out from under the Ezine and this
presentation at the UN.

GLOBALIZATION AND MULTICULTURALISM-- THE CHALLENGE FOR RELIGIONS Guest
Speaker: 1:45-2:20pm Rev. Dr. Kurt Johnson According to the influential
book The Coming Interspiritual Age (Kurt Johnson and David Robert Ord) the
interfaith and interspiritual movements are the natural response of our
world's religions to the ongoing process of inevitable globalization and
multiculturalism. The question is "what will globalization and
multiculturalism ultimately look like, and will the world's religions be an
asset, or a liability, in this inevitable process"? Every aspect of
international life (governance, economics, religion, science, etc.) is
reacting to the inevitability of globalization. Do the high moral and
ethical values inherent in the spirituality of all the world's religions
have a potential pivotal role in this process? If so, how do the world's
religions emphasize this aspect of their shared heritages and not those
that could add further to global competition and conflict? Resources: over

The Coming Interspiritual Age. The Committee on Spirituality, Values &
Global Concerns recognises that spirituality, universal values, justice,
truth, inclusivity and peace do not belong to any one state, religion or
creed but are part of the heritage that belongs to each culture and to
every member of the human family. Human cultures and their underlying
values are what biodiversity is to nature. CSVGC-NY 2013 "Spirit of the UN"
