Jack I'm not denying it as how you feel or your right to feel it.. I am just commenting on how I take it, under my definition of miracle as regards myself., such as a supernatural event.. You have always called THESE events as of the devil. You never consider or allow the possibility that those changes of the mind, which have nothing supernatural in them, are not of God and of the Devil. He choses us YES, but so does the devil. The devil works in our head and "heart". Jesus clearly expounds the importance of real supernatural events when accused of the devil, by saying, "if you cannot accept me (being God) then accept the works that I do." if the Devil could work anything more than an illusion or trick, why would Jesus lead us astray in this here? The devil works by deceit lies and trickery. You know the Scripture of it. Remember the Bible says that we don't choose God he chooses us. Jack I don't. Well not any more than that everything down to an ant is a miracle. It is easy to say "I believe". The early martyrs witnessed many real miracles to help, or should I say frighten them into denying the pagan gods of Caesar. Hell had the greater threat. There was a Saint of long ago who recommended among his prayers. "Oh my God I believe in thee... help me in my unbelief.." The totally committed believer would never sin. Yet Jesus Himself proved that there was no man without sin. Excepting Himself of course. But He had the power man! Why is his faith so strong and yours so weak? What is the difference between you? Also consider this; perhaps God is using this forum to show you that He exists and the evidence is all around you. Believing in God is all about FAITH and not signs and wonders. Personally I consider that changing me from an evolution believing atheist into a God fearing creationist is one heck of a miracle! The prayer I recall most often making -- with ever increasing urgency -- was "God -- make my faith strong." Clearly for all those years it was not strong and God seemed disinclined to help me remedy that failing. Finally, an event occurred which served to separate me from the practice of my religion and faith ebbed rapidly when I was removed from constant reinforcement. With time I saw the reality -- "Faith is what allows us to believe what we know is not possible".
