I think that the majority of people are brain dead and really couldn't give a toss about anything other than themselves.

When I was an undergraduate at London University in the 70s, I used to think for myself and stand up and be counted. For example, the Student Union had a 'debate' on abortion, which was nothing more than a few mouthy clowns shouting about a  woman's 'right to choose'. One guy stood up and spoke against abortion. He was heckled and jeered, but I listened to what he was saying and where he was coming from. When the vote came, there were just two voting against abortion - the brave speaker and me.

Likewise, I used to speak out against the anti-apartheid lobby, because in my opinion the Blacks had a really good deal under White rule in South Africa. I think now that most Blacks of that era would say the same.

After leaving university and going to work every day for a living to support a young family, my perspective narrowed and I became engrossed in Thatcher's Britain. I.e., I was taking on a selfish view of the world.

This world is geared to obscuring truth and replacing the purpose of life with some never-never unreality, such that we can all stop thinking for ourselves and speaking up for what we believe in.

This forum is not like that. I thank people like yourself and Philip for giving reasoned debate as you have. And, in fairness to Philip, I think that the main point he was making was against the organic evolution fairytale that people latch on to in order to justify (in their eyes) their stupid, pointless lives.

Phillip, it's amazing that you have absolutely no concern regarding the crimes and injustice that are obviously driving this man mad. No concern. Whatsoever. I wonder if you were faced with that situation every day whether the word "savage" would be far from your own mind.

It is hateful to have things like slavery and caste systems where people are relegated to positions of servant-hood regardless of their personal character. But even the Scripture makes a distinction when roles are reversed -- for example:

To justify this situation with words like "when blacks were" is unwise. We are not a defeated people. Only Mandela seemed to understand that.

73% of white people voted to end Separate Development in the early '90's (Apartheid is the Afrikaans word that the liberal media found easier to demonise). The promise then was that it would end our isolation from the world and bring about peace and justice for ALL.

We gave up an economy and military that was the equivalent to the rest of "black Africa" combined. No other nation in the history of the world has done that.

Those who voted against (27%) warned that we would not have justice. That we'd still effectively be at war, and that we would lose our self-determination. Only this time, we'd no longer be a regional super-power with nuclear weapons and with the strongest economy by far, and an army and police to protect us.  To make matters worse -- the rest of the world would not care.

They were right. As an example, more than 1,500 white farmers murdered since Mandela and his followers were "handed" power. No one gives a damn. Certainly not you, Philip.

What was the difference with other European-settled countries in North and South America, and Australia and New Zealand? Why did only South Africa opt for Separate Development (Apartheid)?  Well, we were the only ones who were outnumbered by the "others". For everyone else, Democracy was so very, very, very convenient. Can you think of a better legal way to steal someone's land than to simply move in in greater numbers and then declare Democratic rule?

What is more, in the other countries, the "others" were truly indigenous. Contrast that with South Africa. The largest and most powerful group were the Zulu, and white people had already settled in what is now South Africa before the Zulu crossed over from what is now known as Mozambique. In reality, the vast majority of black people in South Africa are migrants and settlers from central Africa.

Why don't you campaign against the existence of countries like Lesotho and Swaziland? They're products of Apartheid. If the policy had been allowed to continue, the hope was that the southern african region would comprise 8 or more such countries. It wasn't about slavery, or depriving people from the rights to citizenship.

It was selfish. But no more selfish than modern political systems. Why not let anyone in the world enter countries like the USA, Australia, England etc. and vote...and settle where they please. Why should any nation have a right to "separate itself" for whatever reason. It's selective Apartheid.

This is a waste of time. Congratulations! You certainly destroyed our nation -- from the British invasions over a hundred years ago that forced our two small republics into the area later called South Africa, to the anti-Aparteid campaign. You're good at it -- I'll give you that. But I know that white people in areas like North America, Australia, New Zealand and even England will face the exact same situation that white people in South Africa do today. I have known that since the day I watched us hand over our future.

If you think that the situation in South Africa is just, Philip, then great. I am happy for you. Because it is your future -- and at least you know now that it won't be all that bad. But if it is -- tough, mate. Your record isn't that great either.

A straight out slur that black is monkey......  with overtones of a belief in evolution....
 
1) Whites have absolutely NO recourse to the law;

3) untouchable black criminals can do whatever they like, with the overt blessing of police and "security" outfits who in the good old days were supposed to protect people from criminals.
Sounds a bit like what it was like for Blacks before when whites controlled the roost.

Well amazing, we know this sounds familiar ...  when blacks were second class citizens, thats even if they were considered as citizens.
 
Only from the True Christian Catholic view can we look at this situation, where it is imperative that charity ie the salvation of souls , (no color there) is the prime directive.   Dutch ruled Africa never included the blacks as children of God needing saving for Him. And we may wonder if your correspondent likewise does care for souls. or even thinks he has one.

A few months ago, we reported on the black mugger who attacked a White family enjoying a Saturday afternoon stroll on a public beach, and stole an elderly woman's cellphone. Her son was able to catch the criminal, tackling him and wrestling the phone from him. The black savage pulled a knife but was disarmed and punched by the woman's brave son.

Incredibly, black police who were summoned to the scene refused to arrest the mugger, and instead arrested the woman, as well as her son and husband for "assaulting the black criminal". The hapless family was detained in a police cell for the weekend, and only released on the Monday morning and all charges withdrawn.

On 20 July 2008, a similar event happened in Pretoria. In a stunning repeat of the first incident of a few months ago, a young White woman leaving a restaurant was attacked by a simian, who snatched her cell phone. Stefan Kloppers who rushed to her aid, was able to tackle the subhuman scumbag and snatch the phone away from him. He chivalrously handed the shaken women back her cellphone and got into his car to leave, at which point a gang of 5 xxxx "security guards" who witnessed the whole thing, yet refused to intervene, blocked him from leaving.
Instead, they summoned the (black) police, who immediately arrested the brave young White guy for "assault". They refused to arrest or even look in the direction of the xxxx criminal, and took Stefan off to police cells, where he spent the next two days locked up.

Clearly this is becoming a racial pattern, and we can safely deduce that

1) Whites have absolutely NO recourse to the law;

'I won't help a victim again'

Pretoria - Stefan Kloppers rushed to help a woman, tackling a thief who had stolen her cellphone. But now this hero is being charged with assault with the intention of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Kloppers, 34, of Cullinan was arrested within minutes of his brave deed on July 20. He was held for two days in a police cell before he was released on bail. "Never again will I help a victim of crime in SA," said Kloppers after his second appearance in court.

Kloppers is being prosecuted even though police have still not taken a statement from the "victim", the suspected thief. Police have also not arrested the suspected thief for stealing the phone. Kloppers had that night been having dinner with friends at a restaurant in Hatfield. They were on their way to his car when they saw an informal parking guard harass the woman.

"I thought he wanted money and walked on. Suddenly the woman yelled and said he had her cellphone. I chased after him and tackled him like I did at school when I was playing rugby," said Kloppers. He took the phone from the man's hand and gave it back to the woman. "He didn't argue," said Kloppers.

He got into his car and saw how bystanders came closer and kicked the thief. As he left the parking area, he was stopped by five security guards who told him to stay there as they had seen "exactly" what had happened.

Police were called and Kloppers was taken to the police station where he thought he would make a statement about the incident. Instead he was arrested.   His legal representative objected to the State postponing the case again for a statement from the alleged thief.   The court heard that police had not been able to find the suspected thief.

When the court was told that the so-called victim was also a suspected thief, Magistrate Christopher Chokwe said, "When someone steals your phone, you don't attack him. You call the police."
