Bernie,
I would challenge this. The story of Lazurus and the rich man is not a
parable. All other parables do not mention the names of people and can
therefore can be allegorical. However however both Lazurus and Abraham
are mentioned by name. So if this description of hell is wrong what does
that make Jesus?
