If a scientist says to you, "There is no such thing as time",
then reply to him, "Then why do you have a watch on your wrist"?
Or, "Then why do people wear watches"?

BB
Because Bernie, being three dimensional, and not four, we would hve no idea of
the exact position on the time line we were,.

But before I rest let me say I did not say there was no time. I promoted the
Biblical idea of tempus or time as temporary having a beginning and an end. It
is this that watches measure, the real movement along a dimension we only
subjectively appreciate or feel. i.e. a minute feels like an hour(in pain) or
the reverse when enjoying oneself.

Now God has eternity which is above our miserable three dimensional experience.
God (and we as souls) is a four dimensional being. He sees our temporary time
as a fixed dimension of a four dimensional created object. He sees it from what
we call beginning to end, or the reverse if He so wishes.

I am certain that when we are separated from these limiting bodies our soul
will see it in the same manner, and wonder ! See all our sins at once, as they
burden our Redeemer on the cross. Yes we will see the Execution in glorious 4D
colour.

Hence the New earth with a NEW resurrected body that is complete and able to
appreciate eternity, which I may for fun sake call real time....

Philip.

If I want to get through a couple of hours in five minutes.. I just sit
down and answer my e-mails. A poker machine in the casino does the same, if you
have enough shillings.. I only went to a casino once in Darwin at 8pm.. five
minutes later I was leaving broke at 2AM.

Is that what SR is all about?
