on the Sun, what then is centered on the Earth, justifying the label
of "Geocentric Universe"???

Only the Sun and Moon in the modified Tychonic model which I, like Allen, do not like at all and do not support.
Parallax, in the conventional view of the phenomenon at least, favours the heliocentric idea. No doubt about it. But parallax is not just in one particular direction. It is this fact that favours geocentrism for, as Allen has just pointed out, the motion then cannot be due to the Earth going around an orbit, but must be due to real motion of the individual stars and galaxies.
