-Thanks Bernie. I had found GPS Gate but after doing a lot of searching and reading I found Garmin's Spanner software on their site that's for the Garmin 18 but seems to work so far with my 60. It creates a virtual com port, which is what I believe GPS Gate also does.

Gale, the only way I get mine to work is to use a product called GPS GATE. I don't like it, but it works. Bernie -- On Sat Sep 01 13:02:55 PDT 2007, "Gale R. When I try to configure the gps, the streets & trips configuration box shows COM4 as the current port. I scan to try to find the gps and it shows "No gps device was found" for COM4, COM5 and COM6. If I click on Start GPS Tracking in streets & trips, it gives me this message: The com port is available, but no signal is being received. The gps interface page shows it is connected. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks. Gale
