I have had a lot trouble with the cord going bad. Do you live close to someone
that has a cord you could try? If you want to send me your phone number off
list maybe I can loan you a cord tomorrow, I would need it back tomorrow
afternoon.

I've tried uploading new maps and updating the firmware. It won't even
recognize the GPS (yes it was turned on). Also tried removing batteries to
reset the thing, but nothing changed.
I'll get ahold of Magellan tech support today and see what they say.
