instead of watch :P

My water heater broke and I needed a new one. Yesterday I spent from
0900 to 2200 dealing with plumbing stuff and then the plumber.

While shopping for parts, we needed some Mapp gas. I didn't know what
it was but he really wanted some. The only thing i could figure is that
it was stuff he put in his GPS to make the maps work. We didn't find any
and we made it home anyway.

I learnt how to cut pipe, put goop on pipe, soder stuff, wire up stuff,
get water all over stuff, tear up stuff, how to cuss at stuff and that
generally there is more to this plumbing thing than I ever want to
learn and it is not as easy as it looks.

ME: at 4pm... "All we need to do is hook up them 2 water pipes and that
elect chord and we are good? Piece of cake, what could possibly go wrong?"

Bart: Give it a minute, you'll see"

ME: @10pm..... "oh yea, i get it now."

I even got to look for a cache at the plumbing supply place in pacific.
One of LeRoys i think. I looked one way and didn't find it and had to
get on with business.

that is all.
