Channel 2 huh?

Who had a CB in their car 20-25 years ago?..

Here in this part of the County all the wackos were on Channel 2 -- the guys
with the squealers and whistlers that made those hideous sounds every time
they'd key up or down; the guys-without-dates who would drive around on a
Saturday night trying to hone in on where the signal was strongest from the
smooth-sounding girls on base stations; the ones who apparently had multiple
CB's and pretended to be other people and then talk to themselves; the
Reverend who tried to convert everyone to his "church" he ran in his house;
the cops who had to leave their jobs under mysterious circumstances; the guy
who gladly took my rabbit off my hands when I moved home from college (who
takes bunnies from strangers?).

Might not have been able to do Channel 2 33 -- but with a good sideband
and booster the bozo who lived behind me was able to simultaneously talk on
channels 2-33 on MY CB, my TV, my phone, my stereo ...

Hunh --Wondered what happened to everyone ..
(If you still have that K-40 antenna stuffed back in your garage somewhere
raise your hand ....)
