From the GC.com page at http://www.geocaching.com/about/

"As of today, there are 79810 active caches in 194 countries.
In the last 7 days, there have been 39150 new logs written by 9320 account
holders"

The only way I know of finding out how many caches are in the US is to look
at each state separately. Alabama has 489, Florida has 2547, etc. I don't
know how you'd find out the total # of active cachers. If you plug in
numbers for the profile ID, there are over 190,000 ID's, but of course many
are not active anymore.

How do I find out how many active caches there are in the U.S.
How can I find out how many countries have caches?
Any estimate of how many active cachers there are?

Judi
