Can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve.

Mike pretty well explained it. Some areas pick an existing cache page and log the event caches there, others log the events x times (like we did yesterday), and still others don't log any event caches, just the one for the event.

Glenn, in his shyster ways, may have a work-around for us for next time.

Only after they roasted Glenn and called us all a bunch of cheaters.. I am still pulling the arrows out! -- Seriously, they did say it was an "ABUSE" of the system.. It seems to me, if I log 27 temporary caches on a LOTEC page or 27 events, who cares? I still pay 30.00 a year! And there is still the same amount of disk space taken from their precious server.

This is one of the reasons I hate GC.COM and their politics.. It's OK to have people go out and put on events where they log 280+ caches in a day, but log 5 temporary caches on an old archived cache page, shame on you!

Rich,

I think it was you Rich that I remember mentioning recently about the LOTECs being history, but don't remember ever hearing any details. Did GC.com officially do away with LOTECs?

Laura,

Glad to see you again at the picnic. I guess you know by now that the event caches are logged on the picnic event page. I think the days of LOTEC are gone, at least until we can come up with another work-around for logging event caches as caches and not as multiple times attending the same event.

Rich
