I love that area in Calhoun County. Titus Hollow is my favorite cache. I've done it a couple of times. Enjoyed it each time. I'll drop them from the list. I need, as of this morning, 16 to reach 500. I selected the caches using google maps and adding the caches that looked like they were on the way. I really didn't have time to read the descriptions yet. Tonights homework. But I have learned from past experience to put more than I need because ineveitably 1 will be missing or I just plain won't be able to find 1 or 2. Since it's going to be 19 tomorrow, I'm planning on only doing the 16, unless I find some 2/2 or less in Alton and I'm a glutton for punishment ;-) You know how it is, I can do just 1 more (that and eating potato chips, huh?) You won't be disappointed. How many do you need for 500? You are not planning on doing all of those in one day are you? If so, you won't make it. For example, while my Daggett Hollow, Sierra Club, and Lost Cabin are all great adventures, It would take most of a day to do these three. Little Giant City would be the easiest and I think they have the road open again. Just wanted to reply to thejones crew request for a indoor bookmark. I just created a bookmark list with all the indoor and partial indoor caches in the stl area that everyone sent me. I figured this'll come in handy on Sunday or Monday, or some other weekend that I'm here and that is too cold to be outside. If there are more, just let me know and I will add to the list. If anyone is interested in braving the 20ish degree weather, I will be doing a caching run to reach 500 on Saturday. Here's the bookmark list I put together that I will use for the route. Titus Hollow won the milestone mark! Hope to be able to see some eagles without a spotter. Acutally, I hope I don't freeze ;-) http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=e8da31dd-ec5f-48f3-8a 13-2bb305c7a550 Cindy J. If not there should be. Afternoon everyone. I am close to reaching 500. I am going to be here over the weekend and am looking for suggestions on which cache to go after for #500. I would like something memorable and cool. I'm staying in the Chesterfield area, but have no problem driving out of the area (to include IL) to pick up a cool cache. Right now the moving cache (GC1D0F) is high on my list because I've never seen one of these types of caches before. Does anyone have any other cool locations? I do like history, especially Air Force history, so I'm not opposed to a geocache virtual. Cindy J.
