I used my garmin on the way to germany and back. It was a ball seeing how high and fast we were flying. You can see what you are over too. I was on u.s. air and I didn't see anything in the info by the barf bag that said no to gps's. I had a way point set to each arrival airport and could see how long we had been flying and how much longer it would be till we landed. -----Original Message----- From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Greg & Bobbi Crouch Sent: Monday, May 31, 2004 11:25 AM To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [GeoStL] gps on planes? - Does anyone know if you can still take a gps on a plane. I am flying out to San Jose this week from STL and would love to take my Rino110 with me. I know you can't take radios on but what if I turn it off?
