Cool! I've never been to a night cache (the one after the Christmas party was just too cold). What do they require to place one? Is there a designation on the caching page that this is a night cache? They do exactly that, Meet for a quick and cheap dinner and then hit about 5 or so caches. Sometimes, they hit just one cache and then chat at the cache until people start heading for home. Sounds like a good idea to me.. I might put one of those together if no one else minds.. Meet around 4 at a McDonald's or similar, get food, then start caching around 5:30. Maybe we can make it a monthly event, such as every 3rd Tuesday. Each month can be a different "section" of SLAGA territory, with someone from the area volunteering to setup the cache route. I know the winter months will only leave an hour or so to cache, so it may not be as popular; however, the summer months will leave an easy 3 hours of group caching. Along the same lines, there could always be a morning/afternoon caching group, and a weekend one as well! Someone else volunteer to start it. :P Andrew (yawetag) ----- Original Message ----- From: Laura Million <mailto:lmillio@xxxxxxxx> To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, July 13, 2007 08:16 Subject: [GeoStL] Re: [geocache] Re: Lunch Friday (tomorrow) How about a drive through dinner (cheaper and quicker) and then an evening group cache while the sun sets later? I'm leaving on vacation in a week, so I can't plan one, but I'll look into it in August. Laura Million 2_cats
