Roger,
There are a couple in rest area's along the way and many others that are
very close to I70. There is not really an easy way search for them other
than using pocket queries for a whole state and loading them into mapping
software. I have found several of them... listed below are a few:
"Madonna of the Trail #6"

area but mile or so off highway in Vandalia
"Wow! Look at that!"
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=6475 - not in rest area
but you can't miss it from highway
Under cover http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=42944 -
again not a rest stop but close to highway near Greenup, IL

area just west of Indianapolis

west bound sister cache to the one above
There are several around Indianapolis that are close to highway but not in
rest areas. Probably the easiest to access is this one: 16th Street Mini
Cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=29944 - east side
of Indianapolis near 465.
There are 6 caches in Richmond, Indiana which are quickly accessed from I70
