Yep, on further investigation, the cacher has been working with a few local folks here and all is well and the event is up and posted. I thought it might create interest in Benchmarking and the L & C event. thanks for the input. *glenn

I think it sounds like the person placing the cache might already have an
audience he's placing for.  Lewis and Clark is THE thing for the next couple
of years, especially THIS year.  If no one in the area has shown or
initiated interest in it why not let this person place it -- might result in
more local interest and generate ideas the do originate locally.

The placer might want to ask for co-placement in order to not ruffle any
feathers -- but if there is no interest and he knows others who will be
traveling to be there -- then there is interest, just not locally.
