[GeoStL] Zipline-final reminder

This Saturday is it! Be there by 9AM so we can get "organized".
Don't forget to download the 2 waivers that need to be filled out and turned in
Sat. morning. The medical waiver has lots of questions so it will save time to
do that in advance. They will have waivers there also to fill out. Again,
EVERYONE zipping will need these 2 waivers.

I have not looked into caches in the area nor planned a place for lunch. That
is something we can discuss that day. The restaurant at the cave leaves
something to be desired but Just East of Stanton is St. Clair and West is
Sullivan, both with plenty of eating spots.
Now this is important!
When we went out to Stanton on Tuesday, July 7th to make the reservations,
there were doing work on I-44 in both directions between Pacific and HW100
(Washington exit). Most of the stretch was down to 1 lane. They probably won't
be working on Saturday but there may still be lane closures.
Those living in the St. Chuck area may want to take HW94 to HW47 and then HW100
to I-44.
Those of us in the St. Louis area may want to take HW 30 (Gravois) out to St.
Clair and the I-44 to Stanton.
Another option is I-44 west to the Six Flags/Pacific exit and the follow old HW
66 to either Grey Summit, HW 100 (Washington) or even to HW 50. Old HW 66 runs
pretty close and follows I-44, so it is easy to see where the backup stops
making it easy to know when to get back on I-44.
Remember, we need to meet at 9AM to start our rides at 9:30.
I wish I had better info on the HW construction, but it IS still going on, and
I don't know if traffic would be lighter on a Saturday morning heading West
than a weekday, so I can't really compare our ride out there 3 weeks ago.
