Hmmmm, I wish I would have mentioned walking sticks. Ours came in very
handy.

I'd say I was well prepared for the trip. Plenty of rest the day before.
Ate a good breakfast.  Brought gatorade and water, 1/2 Gallon total, drank
it all too.  Myotis brought a water purifier.  That would save some pack
weight as long as water is flowing the day you hike.  Ate plenty of energy
food along the trail.
The weather couldn't have been better.  It was from about 40 to 55 degrees
that day.  This trip would have been very difficult for me if it were hot.
The falls were flowing nicely, and plenty of water in the 4 or 5 creeks we
crossed.
The trail is an ankle bender at times, you have to be careful.  I was
wishing I had my walking stick as we descended Wildcat Mtn.
Can't wait to go back and do it in reverse order next time.
