You are so right... I am a failure... Forgive me and lets move on... I will
not do the picnic, I have other things to do... Sorry for the confusion.. I
will not ask to do anything else again.. Can you quit with the personal
attacks?

Thanks!
Mike

You VOLUNTEERED awhile back? Do you mean
this exchange?
Mike G: "There has been talk of hosting it in St.
Charles. McNair Park to be exact...

Tim U: Who is talking about having it at
McNair Park?

Mike G: ;-)

Mike Bollinger VOLUNTEERED to host the
picnic and you single-handedly shot him down
based on an assumption about a voting process
that no longer needs to be an issue.

Jen and Matt VOLUNTEERED to host the
fall picnic again (they did such a good job
last year). But noone responded to them.

What you recently posted:
"I will talk to Andrea tomorrow about the
fall picnic. I think it will be at Babler...
    Pretty sure of that..."

sounds to me like a DICTATION.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Babler
as a location, but I'm just one of hundreds
of members who should have a *chance* to
participate in the decision.

This newsgroup is not where these decision
should be made, anyway. Out of the hundreds of
people who call themselves SLAGA members, most of
them do NOT subscribe to this list or follow
it closely.

The best way to reach members these days is via
an 'email blast', which can also direct them to
more information on the geostl.com web site.
That way everyone gets a change to chime in
and all aware of what the options are at the same time.

Speaking of VOLUNTEERING, you volunteered to
help out last year and agreed to be the SLAGA
Newsletter Editor. Then I had to keep reminding
(pestering) you to get a Winter edition out. Have
there been any newsletters since? No.

Enough said.
