Last 300 yards. did ya fall out of the boat again?? I do not know what you are referring to. We almost put in another 6 miles upstream, which would have been an 18 miler. 12 was a good distance. But I would have liked to have put in further upstream to avoid the power boats and traffic. That is just about the last segment of the current left to float. From I think round springs (a bit south of pulltight?) to Twin Rivers I still haven't done. South of twin rivers isn't much good too many power boats for me. The last float we (wtmrn & I ) did in that area was the stretch of the Jacks Fork from Ally Springs to Twin Rivers. The other section we did before that was the Jacks Fork from the "prongs" to a conservation campground just about 3 miles upstream of Ally Springs. All of that section was very pretty. Steep canyons no commercial activity. Nice & peaceful. There is a real nice campground at Twin Rivers too. Last 300 yards. did ya fall out of the boat again?? Aren't you supposed t be studying or something ? I'll be happy to go floating w ya'll again. Put in at ? 12 miles up the Current, about 1/2 way up to Alley Springs. WP 37 14.547 W 91 19.781 Took out at Twin Rivers, that last 300 yards was real interesting ! The last few miles had a lot of river boats. We did encounter some West Virginia backwoods folk who came right off the set of Deliverence ! He looked just like Ned Beatty's buddy ! And I noticed traces of oil on my glasses and my skin. Besides that the river ws awesome. Barramus N 38° 25.081' W 90° 42.823'
